Instructions for Linksys WRT54GL DNS Conversion
- Open up a browser window (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, etc.). In the Address Bar at the top of the window, delete everything out of this field, and type in “192.168.2.1.” A prompt window labeled “Connect to 192.168.21” will appear. Leave the “User name” field blank and enter in your router password in the “Password” field.

- A web interface for your Linksys router will now be displayed. To the right of the line labeled “Internet Connection Type”, there will be a drop-down box. If the drop down box is set to “Automatic Configuration DHCP”, you may close the browser window. If the drop down box is set to “Static IP”, locate the fields labeled “Static DNS 1” and “Static DNS 2”. Remove the addresses “206.10.62.4” and “206.10.62.3” from these two fields.

- In the fields labeled “Static DNS 1” and “Static DNS 2” enter in the addresses “66.242.88.4” and “66.242.89.4” respectively. Scroll to the bottom of this webpage and left-click “Save Changes”. You may now close this window and try viewing webpages.
