Will I have a local number?

All new activations that are not ported will have a number that is local to St. Cloud. Any ported numbers will be local to the area they originated from.

Can I keep my current cell phone number?

Yes, nearly all cellular numbers are portable. Even landline numbers from some of the larger carriers like Qwest can be ported to Nationwide Cellular. Ported numbers typically take anywhere from 15 minutes to 3 hours depending on how busy the call centers are.

What is the coverage area for Nationwide Cellular?

Albany Mutual Telephone has nation-wide coverage. Please note that many things can affect Cellular reception including weather, location, phone quality, and metal structures.

What is your billing cycle?

The monthly billing cycle will run the 17th to the 16th of each month (your minutes will be reset on the1 7th of each month). You will receive your bill around the 1st of each month. Your first monthly bill may be up to twice as high to make you current with the billing system, all prices are prorated so you will only be charged from the day you started service. Your monthly bill will have all of your charges listed both separately and combined for easy bill payment.

Payment is due by the 25th of each month Activation, equipment cost, cost of any accessories and prorated minutes expected at time the account is opened. Only monthly plan charges will be billed monthly.
